1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you and Shape My Signature, the publisher of the Shape My Signature website and applications (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The website and applications for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Mac are together called the “Service.” By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. The Service is not directed to children below the minimum digital-consent age in their country and is never intended for children under 13.

Effective date: September 1, 2026.

2. What the Service does

The Service guides artificial intelligence to create stylized signature artwork from text, visual concepts, settings, and optional handwriting references. Features can vary by device, plan, region, build, and store availability. Some features may be identified as preview or subscriber features.

Generation is probabilistic. Results can vary, contain spelling or visual errors, fail to complete, or require another attempt. You are responsible for reviewing every result before using or sharing it.

3. Accounts and account linking

You may begin with an anonymous app account. Linking Google or Apple sign-in can help associate eligible creations and unused credits with the linked account across reinstallations or devices. You are responsible for access to your device and linked identity provider.

Do not share authentication credentials or try to access another person’s account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account is being used without permission.

You can schedule account deletion in the app. A seven-day recovery period applies before permanent deletion begins. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription.

4. Subscriptions, purchases, and credits

If paid features are offered, the app will show the available plan or product, included benefits, localized price, billing period, and applicable credit or expiration details before purchase. Do not rely on marketing examples as a purchase offer.

• Apple or Google processes payment and applies its store terms, taxes, cancellation rules, and refund process.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant store before the renewal deadline shown there.
• Deleting the app or your Shape My Signature account does not cancel a subscription.
• Credits are a limited license to request eligible in-app operations. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or resold, and are not a bank balance.
• Plan allowances, purchased packs, and promotional credits may have different eligibility or expiry rules, which will be disclosed with the relevant offer.
• Generation costs can vary by quality and use of a handwriting reference. The current credit cost is shown before you generate.
• If no usable image is delivered because of a recognized provider or processing failure, the Service is designed to restore the charged generation credits. Abuse or an unsettled store transaction may require review.

One-time credit packs may require an active subscription and a linked Google or Apple account. Restoring purchases restores eligible store entitlements; it does not recreate locally deleted content.

5. Your input and generated output

You keep your rights in input you provide. You grant us and our service providers a limited license to host, copy, transform, and process that input only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to use every name, word, image, and handwriting reference you submit. Do not upload someone else’s signature or personal material without permission.

Subject to applicable law, provider terms, and the rights of others, you may use generated output. Because AI can create similar or non-unique material, we cannot promise exclusivity, trademark availability, copyright protection, or that output will not resemble existing work. You are responsible for clearance before commercial, trademark, contractual, banking, or official use.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• forge a signature, impersonate someone, misrepresent consent, or facilitate fraud;
• create or submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content;
• copy, probe, overload, reverse engineer, bypass app integrity, manipulate credits, or interfere with the Service;
• automate requests outside the provided interfaces or evade usage and safety limits; or
• violate another person’s intellectual-property, publicity, privacy, or contractual rights.

We may reject content, limit activity, suspend access, or preserve relevant records when reasonably needed to protect users, providers, or the Service and enforce these Terms.

7. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific visual result, exact completion time, perfect spelling, permanent storage, compatibility with every device, or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features; update safety or usage limits; or revise these Terms. Material changes will receive reasonable notice when required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, while mandatory consumer protections and forum rights in your location remain unaffected. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue.
