Seven-day recovery period: scheduling deletion does not erase the account immediately. You remain signed in and can cancel from Settings until permanent deletion begins on the date shown in the app.
1. Request deletion in the app
- Open Shape My Signature.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Review what will be removed and confirm the request.
- Keep the account signed in if you may want to cancel during the seven-day recovery period.
2. If you cannot access the app
Email support@shapemysignature.app with the subject “Account deletion request.” Send the request from the email linked to your Shape My Signature account when possible and identify whether you used Apple, Google, or a guest account.
We may ask for limited information to verify control of the account. Never send us a password, Apple or Google credential, one-time authentication code, full payment-card number, or private signing key.
If a guest account cannot be reliably matched to you, we may direct you back to the signed-in app so another person’s data is not deleted by mistake.
3. What is deleted
After the recovery period closes and permanent deletion begins, the process removes the Firebase Authentication account, private profile and generation records in Firestore, generated images and reference assets in Firebase Storage, notification tokens, and the associated RevenueCat customer record. If Apple sign-in was linked, its authorization token is revoked as part of permanent deletion when available.
Operational, security, transaction, tax, or dispute records may be retained where law or legitimate fraud-prevention and settlement needs require it. Permanent technical tombstones may retain a one-way hash rather than your raw user identifier to prevent a deleted identity from recreating private data with an old token.
You may separately delete individual creations or all creations without deleting the account. Copies you previously saved to Photos, Files, or another app are outside Shape My Signature and must be deleted there.
4. Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting the app or account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel through the store account that billed you. Store cancellation and refund rules continue to apply.
